Gillian Longmuir

Gillian is responsible for the DYW team whose role is to engage employers in education and highlight the benefits of employing a young person. Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s Youth Employment strategy to better prepare young people for the world of work. Gillian and her team ensure young people in Ayrshire get access to employers through education to prepare them for the world of work and experience high quality work placements. She works closely with employers to engage with education and young people to deliver work placements and employment opportunities.
