Ramone is a Researcher and Project Manager at Moray House School of Education and Sport, University of Edinburgh. She has extensive experience leading on research in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and technology-enhanced initiatives, but her main research is around the exploration of co-designed learning spaces. She has been the lead researcher for many Shared Learning Spaces projects and is managing the Innovative Learning Experiences and Student Experience (ILE+SE) Scoping Study, a global initiative involving 21 teams across 19 different countries. Ramone is also lead researcher for the Scottish Alliance a steering group of academics, educators, and industry professionals whose aim is to create a shared understanding of the languages and processes used to identify key strengths and areas for interdisciplinary learning environment development across Scotland. She is passionate about innovative, inclusive, and collaborative educational practice. Ramone has also worked in community education and the arts for over 20 years and has awards for international research on community art practices and collaborative learning space design.
