Nick’s presentation will focus upon:
- Examples of clients who Kier has supported with Low Carbon estate transformation
- Project methodology - highlighting process / principles which can be adopted for the Scottish Learning Estate
- The learning outcomes will be: Journey/Output/Benefit and next steps
Katherine’s presentation will focus upon:
- How thinking about ‘circularity’ and reuse for buildings can provide big benefits, reducing carbon, and improving resource efficiency
- How Reusefully and Kier are working collaboratively to put ‘circularity’ at the forefront of the redevelopment of the Mayfield Primary School site in Dalkeith
- The wider benefits of circular thinking to the Scottish Learning Estate and how this sits with the context of Scottish and UK construction
