CareScribe is an award-winning assistive technology company based in Bristol, UK. We build software which supports disabled and neurodivergent people to work and study independently. We do this through our two products: Caption.Ed and TalkType.

Caption.Ed is captioning, transcription, and note-taking software that helps people better comprehend and retain the huge amounts of information thrown at them in their busy lives. TalkType is highly accurate, lightning-fast dictation software designed to help people transform their thoughts into text.

Our products offer tremendous value for a wide range of disabilities and neurodivergent profiles, from those who are d/Deaf or have hearing loss to people who have ADHD, Dyslexia, or Auditory Processing Disorder and find it hard to focus and retain information.

Founded in 2020 by an NHS Doctor, strategy consultant, and software engineer, CareScribe is on a mission to make the world more accessible. We build assistive technology which levels the playing field for people with disabilities and enables users to be more independent in their studies and at work.

CareScribe’s products are used by some of the UK’s most prestigious Russell Group universities, as well as FTSE 100 companies. We’ve even got an award win under our belt.
