Dean Stokes

Dean is a former secondary school teacher of 8 years. His role also focused on working with educators and support staff to develop meaningful technology usage for improving efficiency and supporting pedagogy. Since then, he has trained thousands of educators globally and continues to be passionate about the role technology can play in both saving teachers time and enabling more inclusive environments for teaching and learning.

Dean joined the Google for Education team in 2018 to lead education programmes across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He works with schools, local authorities and national governments across the region to support their strategies for deploying technology and training teachers. He now leads the Google for Education team in the UK and Ireland.
