Etive Currie, BA(Hons) MRTPI, is Place Lead (Spatial Planning, Research and Development) with Glasgow City Planning, Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability team. Her promotion of the Place Standard tool has had a profound impact on local planning policies.  The tool has been instrumental in assessing and improving public spaces, tailoring them to meet the needs of all users. 

Etive has been pivotal in fostering a culture of inclusivity and sustainability within her organisation and the wider planning community.  Her work on Glasgow’s Play Sufficiency Assessment has ensured that children’s play needs are integral to urban planning and that environments cater to the holistic needs of all inhabitants.
