Transitioning from marketing to conservation, I reskilled after COVID redundancy with an HND in Wildlife and Conservation Management. My volunteer roles, spanning the RSPB, Borders Forest Trust, and others, developed experience in ecological surveying and habitat management. As a Senior Project Officer with The Conservation Volunteers, I work extensively with children and young adults, including pupils with ASN and PMLD, supporting conservation projects such as meadow creation, tree planting, and community green spaces. Through collaboration with schools, colleges and community groups, I engage people in hands-on activities, fostering environmental awareness, improving biodiversity, and inspiring future generations to value and protect nature.
