Jennifer Freeman is an Associate and Inclusive Design Champion for NORR Architects. For the past 10 years Jennifer has gained relevant experience across a variety of education projects, most notably in Additional Support Needs (ASN) Schools with include Lockhart Campus - 2023 Project of the Year - Inclusive Design at the Learning Places Scotland Awards and Beatlie Campus, 2024 Project of the Year – Inclusive Design, Pupil/Student Experience at the Learning Places Scotland Awards, alongside Pupil/Student Experience of the Year at the 2024 Education Estates awards. Outside of Architecture, Jennifer has volunteered (and now leads) a local disability swimming club, Port Glasgow Otters. Having volunteered from a young age, coaching Paralympians, Special Olympians and teaching swimming this experience ensures that Jennifer advocates inclusivity in the built environment, with her Otters at the heart of every design.
