Jenny Hutchison has been Head Teacher at Currie Community High School for just over 5 years and is privileged to lead such a welcoming, ambitious and forward thinking school.  Currie holds a very special place in her heart as prior to leaving to take up a Depute Head Teacher post in another school, Jenny was Curriculum Leader of Health and Wellbeing and a PE Teacher at Currie.  Jenny is passionate about Education which she believes is the passport to living a fulfilling adult life.  Not only does a quality education provide young people with the skills and knowledge to succeed, it drives personal growth by fostering critical thinking and building social skills. Furthermore, education promotes equality, improves health outcomes, and helps individuals adapt to an ever changing world.  Jenny is delighted to be here today to discuss her experience of leading a state of the art Passivhaus Secondary School in Edinburgh.
