Stephen Boyle

As a senior member of Zero Waste Scotland’s Engagement and Influencing team, Stephen oversees the provision of a variety of support services to public bodies, private businesses, and third sector organisations. His main focus is on the construction sector, supporting the industry to embed a more ‘circular’ approach to use of materials and ways of working. Stephen’s team supports construction businesses to adopt and evidence the benefits of actions that keep materials in high-value use for longer. Their work is key to influencing decision-makers both within the industry and at national policy level to take impactful action that will generate lasting change. 

Stephen has been working in the environmental sector for over 30 years. Prior to joining Zero Waste Scotland in 2013 he built up significant experience working with Scotland’s environmental regulators.
