We are inviting proposals for presentations, workshops, group discussions and exhibition material which will investigate, illustrate, demonstrate or celebrate the themes of:

All presentations will be reviewed by the relevant conference Advisory Groups and if accepted, they will be allocated to a session within the conference programme. Marketing-derived papers, or those seeking to advertise will be rejected.
The Scottish Government recognise the importance of harnessing technology in ways that enhance learning and teaching, ensuring it complements the wider ambitions of Scottish education.
Scotland’s National Performance Framework provides the broader context for this work. It sets out a national vision focused on wellbeing, equality and improving outcomes for people and communities, guiding how public services, including education, contribute to a fairer and more successful Scotland.
The Scottish Government’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools: Guidelines and Guardrails sets national expectations for the safe, ethical and responsible use of AI in education, ensuring that children’s rights, privacy and the central role of human relationships in learning are protected.
Together, these frameworks reflect Scotland’s evolving direction for digital and AI in education, centred on safe, equitable and purposeful use of technology that supports high‑quality learning.

Criteria for submitting a Presentation for the Conference

Presentation submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Advisory Group on the basis of quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. Marketing-derived papers, or those seeking to advertise will be rejected.
2.
Where a presentation is discussing a particular project or case study in an education setting, the client should be the main speaker with the contractor / architect etc as the supporting speaker.
3.
Presentations should be submitted under the name of the person intending to present them at the conference.
4.
A maximum of 3 presentations can be submitted by one company and each presentation should be a separate submission.

Conference Sessions
Unless otherwise agreed, sessions run for 1 hour, with 2 presentations so you have 15-20 minutes for your presentation plus time for introductions and Q&A. The general format is as follows:
Session Chairs will organise a briefing call with all speakers at least 2-3 weeks before the event to discuss and finalise the content and format.
Speaker Registration
All speakers and chairs receive a complimentary pass to attend the event.
Presentations
Speakers will be required to provide their presentation slides in advance of the event so that they can be pre-loaded on to the theatre laptops.
Please note, we DO NOT require slides at this stage. If your presentation submission is accepted, you will be provided with full information about the event, including deadlines for your slides.
